US Ryder Cup team completed

After several days of deliberation the US Ryder Cup captain, Davis Love III, has completed the line-up of the American team he hopes will wrestle the cup back from team Europe at Medinah.
Unlike European captain Olazabal, Love had four picks rather than two and used them to great effect, as he selected the big hitting Dustin Johnson, the ever reliable Jim Furyk, the putt master Steve Stricker and the in-form Brandt Snedeker.
To me by having four picks and selecting the guys he has Davis Love has given team USA the edge, for me their team couldn’t be any stronger, by having four picks Love was able to take into account the guys in the best form and look add much needed experience to his side.
For an event like the Ryder Cup you want guys who are coming into it playing their best and feeling confident, not guys who are suffering in terms of form and confidence, or trying desperately to re-capture the form they showed earlier in the year.
While their maybe four rookies in the side two of them are major champions and they are all in decent form unlike some of the members of team Europe.
I think that changing the system to have four picks is definitely something that every future team Europe captain should consider, all this aside I can’t wait for September 28th when the matches will begin, I think it will be tight but I think the USA will just edge it, either way it should be one hell of a contest.
