Former boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has
written off England's chances of winning the World Cup next summer.
He told BBC Radio 5 live: "I
don't believe they can win the World Cup in Brazil. Maybe in Russia in 2018.
There are a lot of young players coming in.”
No shit Sherlock, of course England
can’t win in Brazil why did you feel the need to say that, it’s not like there’s
been a wave of players, pundits and fans saying England can win has there.
Surely the whole point of the news
is that you report something that tells us something we don’t already know, or
gives us a fresh sense of perspective, is Eriksson doing that here?
No he’s just adding his name to the
extensive and ever growing list of people that think England can’t win the
World Cup next year.
