Despite being shown on BBC three, the bold and brilliant documentary series Our War shows the difficulties faced on the front line by our armed forces in Afghanistan.
Filmed by the soldiers and backed up with interviews recorded once back home, Our War gives a completely new and unique insight into what it’s like to be living and fighting in a war zone.
While you watch you will undoubtedly become angered and ask yourself why are our armed forces still out there, your respect and admiration for them will go through the roof and at times you will certainly feel a lump at the back of your throat as they talk you through times when they were ambushed by the Taliban, or when one of their comrades was killed.
